Rumour is around that Playboy star Pamela Anderson and Oscar winner George Clooney have started dating each other.

The pair was seen having dinner at the Valley Inn restaurant in Sherman Oaks, California, a couple of weeks ago. Acording to the Enquirer, Anderson and Clooney were obviously having a good time, with Pamela ending the date on George's lap.

The Baywatch star split with her husband, Kid Rock, last year, after a brief marriage. Clooney divorced Talia Balsam in 1993, and has dated a string of beauties since then, including Renee Zellweger.

Paris Hilton has been invited by an Austrian businessman at the Viena Opera Ball this year. Richard Lugner, a 74-year old wealthy businessman, is known for inviting, in the last few years, many celebrities to the classy European event.

The Austrian mentioned, in a press conference, that he believes that the presence of Paris Hilton will be a very good advertisement. It is rumored that the hotel heiress will receive 1 million dollars for attending the ball. Also, she will have to dance a waltz with Lugner, which will be telecast live.

Paris Hilton preferred over Britney

Initially, Britney Spears was also on the guest list for the ball. But later, she has been removed from it.

Asked about the situation, Lugner declared that, unfortunately, Britney and Paris Hilton don't get along anymore, so they decided to invite only Paris.

Other famous stars that attended the ball, in the last years, include Pamela Anderson, Sophia Loren or Geri Halliwell, all in an effort from the organizers to bring more attention to the traditional event.

Two clubs in Florida, known until now as Club Paris, will no longer be associated with Paris Hilton.

The decision was taken by the club manager because she constantly failed to attend scheduled appearances. Despite of this, the club name will not be changed, but will be associated with the city in France.
