Filming for the next season of 24 is about to start, and in a recent interview for Cinematical.com, Elisha Cuthbert mentioned a possible adaption of the popular TV series for the big screen.

The actress, who plays Kim Bauer in the Fox production, hinted that the proposed movie may begin filming just after the new season wraps up. One of the reasons that may delay the production is Kiefer Sutherland's (who plays Jack Bauer) busy agenda. Also, she mentioned, with the high standards set by the TV series, the script and timing of the new productions must be perfect.

So, it may take a while until this project gets underway. Meanwhile, Elisha Cuthbert will star in a comedy with Woody Allen, The Six Wives of Henry Le Fay.

The next season (7th) of 24 is set to start airing in January 2008.
