Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are in Africa again, traveling on behalf of the UN, monitoring the crisis in Darfour.

Angelina, a good-will ambassador for UNCHR, will not be allowed to visit Darfour itself, due to unstable conditions. The aim of the visit is to raise awareness about the deteriorating situation. This is her second visit to the region, with the first one taking place in 2004. The visit will last for three days.

In other new regarding Angelina Jolie, she is going to adopt a kid from Vietnam soon. And, as a recognition for her commitment to humanitarian issues, she has been nominated to join the the Council on Foreign Relations, a think-tank that also includes Condoleeza Rice or Colin Powell.
