In her recent interview for People's magazine, Tyra Banks has replied to bloggers and tabloids claiming she gained too much weight and calling her "Tyra Porkchop".

Tyra Banks, now 33, has admitted she has gained some weight over the last few years, but not to the proportions the tabloids suggested. She claims she is now at 161 lbs, about 30 lbs more than in 1997, when she appeared on the cover of the Sport's Illustrated magazine.

The former Victoria's Secret supermodel has also explained that she receives a lot of mail from young girls who look up to her and that such comments probably hurt them too.

Also, in an attempt to prove her point (that the "unflattering" picture was taken at a bad angle), she has appeared in her TV show, America's next top model, wearing the same swimming suit.
