Worst movies of the year 2006 (disappointments)
Here are the top flops on the big screen in 2006:
Who would have expected that Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves will meet again on the big screen after the success of "Speed"? Although we would of wanted Lake House to be a movie as exciting and electrifying, we stumbled upon a clichéd love story … a man and a woman both live in the same house…no, they are not neighbors … even more interesting he lives in the house in 2004 while she lives in it in 2006. The two exchange messages through a magical mail box…the end is predictable.
Thinking of the Pink Panther, takes you back to the amusing cartoons. Of course, the movie needs to be at least as funny, especially that the lead character is Steve Martin. Except it's not! Unfortunately even Steve doesn't know what he's doing in this movie…the unoriginal jokes ruin everything…only one joke from the hole movie is funny and original.
Eragon appears on the big screen as the successor of "Lord of the Rings", but the most you can say about it is that it is an unfortunate mix of Harry Potter, "Dragonheart" and "Neverending Story". Stefen Fangmeier is very good at special effects, but he isn't the best story teller. The best character, is then, the dragon.
